Not often are there events like The Street Brawl which was put together by Scott Lewis, QTRPNDR on the forums, and hosted at the Albuquerque National Dragway. Over 40 cars made the drive from Santa Ana Star Casino in Bernalillo, New Mexico to the drag strip and made this 100% call out based event a great success!

A little late in posting this video from the Outlaw Desert Racing – USA vs Mexico 150. This particular race in the Outlaw Desert Racing Series was held in the Puerco, which is just west of Southern Blvd., in Albuquerque / Rio Rancho. There was a good turnout with lots of racers and spectators alike for the July 25th, 2009 event.

The 2nd BBQ for the summer had a great turnout. The event was organized by girlie_girlracing02 aka Cat and hosted at Elliott’s Bar and Grill on the west side. With a wide range of cars, music by DJ Hena and the Elliott’s staff on the grill it was a great time.

A great turn out at the Del Norte Baptist Church this afternoon in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The great turnout brought out a few cars that we don’t typically see at the other shows like the Hooters series. A great environment with a lot of friendly owners wanting to share stories of their vehicles history.

The 3rd round of the 5 event series is now finished. In the 10.00 class Jerry (Twin Turbo Tiger) in his twin turbo Sunbeam Tiger took the win over Joe (Finchstang) with his turbo Mustang in the finals. Unfortunately both the 11.50 and 13.00 classes had a double breakout.

We were able to catch the Hooters car show before the temperature got out of control. By 11:00 it was already getting into the low 90’s. We previously had the chance to attend the July 25th, 2009 Car Show on the west side and the July 11th event at the East Side Hooters.

Brian1 got some awesome video coverage of the Outlaw Desert Racing – USA vs Mexico 150 that went down west of Southern Blvd., in Albuquerque / Rio Rancho on July 25th, 2009.
The track consisted of 15 miles of whoops, sand hill climbs, descents, rock obstacles and quite a bit more.
