A great organized race event being put together by CAMTuning, N.M. Imports and Boost Inc. that will be going down on September 10th, 2011 at the Albuquerque National Dragway.
Your chance to show Albuquerque what your import vehicle can do and win some cash in the process! This event has been put together by a great group of people and the rules have been fine tuned to make sure that it will be a success without much confusion.

For those making plans for the 4th of July holiday, the Albuquerque Dragway will be having a fireworks display as well as racing the weekend prior to Monday, July 4th, 2011.

We stopped in at Albuquerque Dragway for the final R.O.D.S (Real Outlaw Door Slammers) event of the year. With a great turnout of the R.OD.S. class 13 cars qualified. Shawn Jones was the number one qualifier with a 4.372. The Xtreme Radial class had a slightly smaller turnout of 8 cars, but Mike Keenan clicked off a very impressive 5.127 in the 1/8th.
With a full day of events planned from 10am to 10pm the late March weather was very unpredictable this weekend. The morning started off with snow on the ground, but by the time the gates opened the unpredictable weather gave us a clear blue sky. With the clear sky and the warm sun the line to get in was over 100 cars around 1:00.
The second Hot Rod Rumble for the year was one of the biggest events at the Albuquerque Dragway this year. With an estimated 200+ hot rods attending, it was a great show. This was one of the last big events of the year before the track goes into hibernation for the 2009 season.

Not often are there events like The Street Brawl which was put together by Scott Lewis, QTRPNDR on the forums, and hosted at the Albuquerque National Dragway. Over 40 cars made the drive from Santa Ana Star Casino in Bernalillo, New Mexico to the drag strip and made this 100% call out based event a great success!
