			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The RSW Admin/Moderating team has decided that the return of the RacingSouthwest.com Garage also signals the return of the “<strong>Garage Ride of the Month</strong>.”   Garage Ride of the Month, or GRotM for short, is where we, the admins and mods, scour the RSW Garage for vehicles that are special in one way or another.  Perhaps it is an obviously modified street machine or track champion.  Or, perhaps the vehicle we will choose is a “sleeper”, highly modified, but as normal looking as any other vehicle on the road.</p>
<p><span id="more-625"></span>If your vehicle is not in the <a href="http://racingsouthwest.com/forums/index.php?/garage/">RSW Garage database,</a> you will miss out on the opportunity of being the GRotM.   If you have not double checked your “mod list” lately, it might be a good time to update it.   Perhaps next month the GRotM could be YOURS!</p>

<p><strong>HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD YOUR VEHICLE?</strong><br />
I have been building, displaying, and driving this car for its legal owner since 2000.</p>
<p><strong>VEHICLE BACKGROUND:</strong><br />
The vehicle was purchased in 2000 from an elderly couple.  It was very clean and with fairly low miles.  The original plan was keep it clean and simple.  Its primary purpose was look good for the weekly visit to the golf course and occasional night out on the town. It has slowly been turned into the NM Imports feature car.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY WITH YOUR VEHICLE?</strong><br />
I would have to say my favorite memory with my car was when it first dynoed above 550 whp.  I took the owner out for a ride at wide open throttle. The look on his face, and the little girl scream he produced, will <em>never</em> be forgotten.</p>
<p><strong>IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WISH YOU WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?</strong><br />
If I could go back and do it all again, instead of bits and pieces over the last few years, I would have saved all the engine parts and do it as a one-time build.  For the last three winters, the engine has been removed for different add-ons.</p>
<p><strong>COMMENTS/THANKS:</strong><br />
I would first like to thank Fernando Sanchez for the opportunity to build his car with a no question, open wallet, use-it-when-you-want-to, have fun environment.  Second, I would like to thank my wife and son for understanding and allowing me to do these time consuming builds.  Third, I would like to thank all my friends and supporters that stand up and take on these difficult cars head on with me.  Finally, and most importantly, ass Geff A. for keeping me on my toes, pushing me to higher levels, and making NM Imports a reality instead of just a thought on paper.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;line-height: normal">The RSW Admin/Moderating team has decided that the return of the RacingSouthWest.com Garage also signals the returns “Garage Ride of the Month”.<span> </span>Garage Ride of the Month, or GRotM for short, is where we, the admins and mods, scour the RSW Garage for vehicles that are special in one way or another.<span> </span>Perhaps it is an obviously modified street machine or track champion.<span> </span>Or, perhaps the vehicle we will choose is a “sleeper”, highly modified, but as normal looking as any other vehicle on the road.<span> </span></p>

<p><strong>HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD YOUR VEHICLE?</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;line-height: normal">I have been building, displaying, and driving this car for its legal owner since 2000.</p>
<p><strong>VEHICLE BACKGROUND:</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;line-height: normal">The vehicle was purchased in 2000 from an elderly couple.<span> </span>It was very clean and with fairly low miles.<span> </span>The original plan was keep it clean and simple.<span> </span>Its primary purpose was look good for the weekly visit to the golf course and occasional night out on the town. It has slowly been turned into the NM Imports feature car.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY WITH YOUR VEHICLE?</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;line-height: normal">I would have to say my favorite memory with my car was when it first dynoed above 550 whp.<span> </span>I took the owner out for a ride at wide open throttle. The look on his face, and the little girl scream he produced, will <em>never</em> be forgotten.</p>
<p><strong>IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WISH YOU WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;line-height: normal">If I could go back and do it all again, instead of bits and pieces over the last few years, I would have saved all the engine parts and do it as a one-time build.<span> </span>For the last three winters, the engine has been removed for different add-ons.</p>
